Ground Test Equipment for Aerospace

Especially in the aerospace industry, the highest demands are placed on safety, precision, and verification – and ground test equipment plays a central role here. Schröter Modell- und Formenbau develops and manufactures customized solutions that optimally complement test benches and reliably simulate real-world operating conditions.
Ground Test Equipment includes all devices, adaptations and test fixtures used on ground test stands for the validation, verification and release of aerospace components and systems.
These include, for example, mechanical test fixtures, load introduction elements, adapter structures for engines and components, assembly and disassembly devices, modular racks for environmental simulations (temperature, humidity), vibration and oscillation rigs, and interfaces for measurement and telemetry systems.
With the help of this equipment, it is possible to realistically simulate operating and fault scenarios, accurately transfer loads, reproduce load profiles and seamless measurement data acquisition under defined boundary conditions.
Crucial aspects of this equipment include geometric and tolerance accuracy, material selection (metallic components, composite terminals), fixing and quick-change solutions, as well as the secure integration of sensors, cable management and DAQ systems.
